Welcome to the Narrative Gamer, a blog about sharing my tabletop game experiences with a narrative twist. I have been a fan of various solitaire board games for several years now, and I have been wanting to share my experiences with others. I have been inspired by sites such as Board Game Geek as well as the numerous content creators on YouTube. I have decided to start this blog as a way to share my experiences with others, and hopefully inspire others to dive in to this amazing hobby.
What are my short term plans for this blog?
For the short term, I plan on sharing after action reports for a few of my favorite games, written with the assistance of some AI generative tools such as MidJourney and ChatGPT. I will be diving in to games that take place in one of my favorite eras, World War II, starting with American Tank Ace. I will also be diving in to some of Gregory Smith’s other games, such as The Hunters, and other solitaire games such as Target for Today, Enemy Coast Ahead: The Doolittle Raid, Combat! Vol 2, and Mr. President, one of my favorite solitaire games in recent years.
There will be plenty of fun in the future, so stay tuned and I hope you enjoy what is to come!
